The 1st China Sand Sculpture Festival is celebrated in SanyaPhoenixIsland.

On Dec.18, 2005, More than 100 artists from home and abroad gathered here to make their sand sculptures for the first Phoenix Island International Sand Sculpture Festival.

They made kinds of images like portraits, animals, constructions. That attracts numerous visitors to appreciate.
