Jianfeng Hill, the No.1 tropical rainforest park has the largest tropical virgin forest preserved perfectly in China, which is established in 1976 occupying 1600 hectare. The important protecting objects are the tropical rainforest and the gibbons, Grey Peacock-pheasant live here. There are various of tropical vegetation and subspecies of birds.
The highest summit of the Jianfeng National Rainforest Park, a granite dome, is quite easy to reach and from there you can get an incredible view on the southwestern part of the highland. There is an elfin forest on the top with some Melastomaceae, Azaleas, Blueberries and Rhodomyrtus and a few other interesting plants like Canscora melastomacea, a Scutellaria and a few other tropical alpines.
