Recently, Sanya Government contributes RMB316,140,000 from the financial fund for solving the problems of public transportation and improving the bus service level. The problems are: less Bus Stations, lack of station sign, nonstandard station sign etc.

Increaseing 176 bus stations, 268 station signs in the whole city scope, purchasing 50 vehicles which is aim to create a good environment for local people and tourists who are from domestic and overseas. Comprehensively improving traveling service level and city management level, promoting development of international tropic tourism city construction. According to report, the government will complete the public transportation line in the year and it plan to increase more than 5 lines every year in the next 3 years. To 2010, It is more than 40 public transportation lines which will put upon 500 vehicles. It satisfies citizens and tourists basically.
